Brabender-FlexWall®Plus Feeder

Der FlexWall®Plus feeder is an Universal loss-in-weight feeder for virtually all flowable ingredients (powders, pellets, flakes, fibers, etc.)
The feeder has the following main components: a stainless steel trapezoidal housing, flexible polyurethane trough with a large trough cross-section, a feed screw, a screw tube, 3 phase motor and a trapezoidal extension hopper. The shape of the trough provides consistent screw filling and mass flow without ingredient deterioration.
The FlexWall®Plus is easily disassembled for wet or dry cleaning as the polyurethane hopper that is attached to the housing is easily removed. Moreover, the compact trapezoidal shape allows up to 6 feeders to be arranged around a central feed point. Service can be from the front or back.
The gravimetric version includes the analog weighing system MS6, or the digital weighing system MD6 (for highest measurement accuracy), featuring a high resolution robust digital load cell with serial data transmission and advanced filtering technology.

FlexWall®Plus Hygienic Design (HD)

The FlexWall®Plus feeders are also available in a food-safe version.

In the HD basic version of the FlexWall®Plus, all parts that come into contact with the product comply with the European Framework Regulation 1935/2004 and the requirements of the US FDA. The FlexWall®Plus HD is therefore suitable for foodstuffs.
Blue polyurethane parts are a synonym for hygienic design and serve for optical detectability. Therefore, the screw trough, the lid seal and the screw connection of the FlexWall®Plus are in blue (RAL 5010).
Labels and warnings are signed on the device using an electrochemical marking process, meaning there is no need for stickers. The lubricants and oils used are approved by the NSF for category H1 and certified kosher and halal.

HD version with options

Expandable HD options

The FlexWall®Plus HD can be expanded with various options and thus meets various industry and customer requirements.

The stainless steel parts that come into contact with the product can be made from 1.4404. Furthermore, surface requirements with a roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8µm can be met. Ground welds to match adjacent surfaces are also possible.

All components of the weighing system such as the frame, the load cell, the terminal boxes and the machine feet are available as an HD version. These are made of stainless steel and were designed with optimal accessibility and cleanability in mind. The FlexWall®Plus HD can also be designed with HD motors and can be dismantled without tools.
